Keeping up to date

It is always important that you keep your customer details up to date with all the correct contact details. This sounds simple doesn't it, but it is not something that you always ask for, with MOTText your customer details can easily be updated so we are not sending incorrect information to your customers and annoying them.

How Old?

Sometimes you have the problem when a vehicle is starting to get a little bit older and the cost of servicing is only going to increase. This isnt something that you are going to want to tell your customers, so why not offer them a discount on the servicing to get them through the door?

You can control from within our system age related reminders, so for instance you can choose a vehicle that is 1-3 years old to get a different reminder to those vehicles that are maybe 4-6 years old and so on.

This gives you a great platform to make sure that your customers are returning to you year on year as you are starting to feel their pain but also by offering them a discount they will feel like they are getting a good deal to entice them in, but unfortunately we all know that the servicing on the older vehicles just increases.

On the flip side though with the newer vehicles you can give your customers peace of mind that the price you offer is the price you pay because vehicles are getting a bit more reliable, so it might be an oil filter change and a few other bits and bobs which you can account for.

Always here to help

I wanted to jot this one down as I thought it was quite interesting, I had a call to my personal mobile at 9.30pm on Thursday evening, that's right 9.30 at night and I took the call and it was one of our customers who was entering his customers data after hours with a few questions which I was glad to answer.

Not only am I happy to hand out my mobile number to garages so if they come across any questions I am always happy to help but we also understand the importance of the system being available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Now I may not answer it at 3am in the morning but leave a voicemail and I will definitely come back to you the next day.

We also understand that for some of our customers 9.30pm is the only time they get to process their customer records if they are used to more of a manual way of processing their customer details. For this we make our system as easy as possible to use and have removed all clutter from the screens so you can just focus on the job at hand, recording your customer records.
